Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed received Saudi Interior Minister and his delegation at Noor Khan Air Base Rawalpindi. Home Secretary Yousuf Naseem Khokhar and other officials were also present at the airport. Accompanied by the Saudi Interior Minister, a six-member delegation of senior Saudi officials has also arrived in Pakistan.
The Saudi Interior Minister has arrived in Pakistan on a one-day visit at the special invitation of his Pakistani counterpart Sheikh Rashid Ahmed. A formal meeting with the delegations of the Interior Ministers of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will be held at the Ministry of Interior.
During his visit, the Saudi Interior Minister will also hold meetings with President Dr. Arif Ali and Prime Minister Imran Khan. Discussions are expected during the visit of Saudi Interior Minister to Pakistan, including the regional situation, release of Pakistanis imprisoned in Saudi Arabia and other important issues.
