Newly Merged Districts’ Public Taken On Board over Development work

A  consultative  meeting  of Accelerated Implementation Program (AIP)  for newly merged districts  of the province  was organised by district administrations of respective areas . The aim of  the these public meetings is to  apprise the common public and their representatives about the ongoing development projects as well as listen to take their suggestions into consideration.

Detailed briefing was delivered on overall infrastructure,  welfare, communication system, education, health and miscellenous projects completed in various areas of the newly merged districts  and future plans of development. The  meetings were held in Khar, district  Bajaur,  Kurram, Wana , district South Waziristan,  and Miranshah (District North Waziristan).

The gathering was attended by public representatives,   government  officials of all departments, elders / notables, youth and media persons.

on the occasion the participants were apprised about development projects  and activities undertaken by government during last  three years after  FATA merger . The participants were also briefed about future development plan of three years.

On the occasion, the grievances of the people of the merged districts in the light of development works already done and those planned in future were also taken into consideration. To accommodate suggestions and concerns of the people of these districts, further meetings will be held and continue till March 18 at sub-division and tehsil  level at merged districts.
